The Importance of the Family

May it be our resolve to build a gospel-centered home, a safe harbor from the storms of the adversary. -L. Tom Perry,

Today Nate and I had the opportunity to attend a funeral of a man in the ward. He was not active and most of his family had nothing to do with the church. The service was more of a wake than a funeral. People got up and talked about him and were so very sad. At that moment I realized how precious the gospel is to me and my family. As parents we have such a great obligation to teach our children the things the Lord has put in place to protect our families from the storms that lay a head.

Halloween

I am sure glad this Holiday is over... Nate and the Bishopric decided to be the lollipop guild, so I was in charge of pulling it off. I think they sang and dance pretty good for a group of uncoordinated men.

Rori and Gracie were a snow white and dopey. Poor Gracie, got the bad end of the deal, but boy did she pull it off good.

I have some more picture that I will post later this week.

Rori in the Sink

The other night after our ward Halloween party I was giving Gracie a bath in the sink because it was so late and I wanted to hurry. After I got Gracie out and all dressed I went into the bathroom to clean up and this what I found in the sink. She really had to wiggle her self in. We all laughted. I think this will be Rori's last bath in the sink. (Funny I think I said that 3 years ago.)
